CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (E-MBA-ICM)

L&T IPM has a well acclaimed career progression program in form of PRAGATI which is aimed at developing project leaders capable of handling large-scale projects and portfolios.

Expanding on the success of PRAGATI, L&T IPM is launching Functional Leadership Development Programs tailored to enable professionals to excel in their respective functions and bring deep competency and innovation, providing organisations with a competitive edge.

Given L&T's significant operations in the construction industry, initiating this learning journey with a focus on construction management seems apt. In alignment with industry demands, L&T IPM has collaborated with NICMAR University to introduce an Executive MBA in Infrastructure Construction Management (E-MBA-ICM). This strategic endeavour aims to groom industry leaders equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of construction management effectively.

This is the first time that a customised MBA degree from a reputed university is being offered through L&T IPM, and one of the pioneering instances that an MBA program is being co-delivered by an University and a Corporate entity. By investing in specialised programs like E-MBA-ICM, L&T reaffirms its commitment to excellence and leadership in the industry. This proactive approach not only enhances the capabilities of its workforce but also solidifies L&T's position as a leader in delivering quality-driven projects suited to the challenges of the modern business landscape.

Distinctive Features of program

On completion of this program, participants shall

• Successfully integrate theoretical knowledge on construction management with the real-world practices and the sector-specific nuances to enable better execution of construction projects
• Sharpen technical skills and develop requisite managerial skills to execute complex and large construction projects
• Be prepared to lead projects independently and holistically and thus propel career progression
• Receive MBA Degree from a leading university while continuing to be employed in L&T

Program Objective

The aim of the E-MBA-ICM Program is to develop mature and responsible techno-mangers as a future leader of L&T with an emphasis on managing construction business/projects at L&T who can fulfil responsibilities in diverse fields. The program objectives are:

• To elucidate foundations of the body of knowledge including principles and practices of construction project management and its related areas
• To equip Participants with skills and competencies to supervise/manage construction project sites and work independently
• To facilitate the application of the knowledge and skills to the effective delivery of the projects/functions, assigned to the Participants

Eligibility criteria

Graduates in Engineering in E1-M1C cadre with minimum 2 years’ experience with CP rating of 5 and above in latest appraisal
