The project management council has been established to provide strategic direction, guidance and governance to ensure that IPM builds capabilities in alignment with L&T's strategic aims. The Council is representative of our core project businesses and consist of the following members:
- Mr. Subramanian Sarma
- Mr. T. Madhav Das
- Mr. A.L. Sekar
- Dr. C Jayakumar
- Prof. Rajiv Nehru
In addition, the PMC will invite distinguished academicians, subject matter experts and business leaders according to the needs of the company.
The Project Management council has the following goals:
- Provide strategic direction to the activities of IPM inline with global benchmarks
- Guide and mentor IPM in developing strategies , plans and programmes aligned to L&T's strategic objectives
- Direct the establishment of world class partnerships and governance mechanisms with global standards
- Facilitate synergy across different businesses
- Assist IPM in establishing highly competent & resourceful faculty for its programs
The Council will meet at least twice in a year.
