Advanced Project Leadership Program (APLP) is a carefully designed modular program spread over a year, with four modules, with each module having six days of intensive classwork.
The program is designed to facilitate participants to enhance their understanding of Project Management concepts and imbue them with a strategic management perspective. The program focuses on international best practices of delivering best-in-class quality within committed timelines, ensuring fast and consistent performance, standardization in process, leveraging the benefits of data analytics during execution, and taking proactive measures to ensure cost efficiency while assuring a customer-centric approach to project delivery. IIM Calcutta's academic excellence and L&T IPM's prowess in practical applications are synergized to deliver value to the individual as well as sponsoring ICs/SBGs. Pedagogy consists of case study-based teaching, IC/SBG-specific project work and simulation-based experienced learning.

Program Objective
The program's prime objective is to provide deeper knowledge to the participants in the following learning outcomes and equip them with the right tools to deliver superior performance in their projects.
- Recognise emerging trends in the EPC Projects and be prepared to leverage them on the job
- Experiential learning through group case study discussions and simulation-based solving of real-life project scenarios
- Adopting a scientific, data-driven approach to resolving project and business specific risks in challenging environments
- Developing a strategic outlook for efficient and profitable delivery of Projects/Businesses
Eligibility criteria
Project personnel with 11-20 years of experience (in total) preferably in Tier-2 and first level of Tier-3 (M3-A) grade with a CP rating of 5 and above.
